Exploring Azoundria is a free textbased MMORPG set in a constantly expanding ancient world. The basis of the game is interactive fiction, operating very much like a giant Choose your Own Adventure book. It's many features include items, stats, variables, quests, and battles.

What you Need to Play
Usually if you can read this writing, you can play. Not only is the game free, but it's also browserbased - requiring no download.
What to Expect
After completing the tutorial, you are thrust into a random town of the game and have to find your way. The experience changes depending on where you are in the game. The underlying basis is on text, but there are pictures, Flash, and JavaScript throughout.
What's your Goal?
Instead of being based upon one main plot, the game has several subplots, such as quests or tasks you need to complete to get a reward. Aside from these, you can also try to earn skill xp, improve your stats, gather items, make friends, or just explore the world!

| MMORPG | Is actually a mixture of two acronyms, MMO meaning massive multiplayer online and RPG meaning roleplaying game. Exploring Azoundria could also be considered a MMOG (massive multiplayer online game) or a MUD (multi-user dungeon or multi-user dimension). |
| XPAZ | You may come across this acronym, which is simply the shortened version of eXPloring AZoundria. |
| Browser | The tool you use to browse the internet. The most common are Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. |
